A little bit of history...

The MOMS Club of Helena had its first meeting in May, 1995. Our founder, Jackie, had been a member of a MOMS Club chapter in Florida and loved her experience there so much that she brought the idea to Helena, to make it the first chapter in the state of Montana. Although the response to the first meeting wasn't exactly overwhelming (only Jackie, her kids, and her guest speaker attended), by the end of the second year, the chapter had swelled to one hundred moms! It seemed that the time to offer at-home moms and their kids fun daytime activities had truly arrived...

...and now...

The MOMS Club of Helena continues to offer its members a fun calendar that appeals to moms and kids of all ages.  Our members range in age from their early twenties to mid-forties, and our kids run the gamut from prenatal to college.  Our activities are designed around what the moms want to do, so there is something for every mom, no matter how old her kids may be.  We have moms who continue to enjoy our events as their kids reach school-age and beyond; our members are never forced to "graduate" from the club.  This is first and foremost a club for MOMS with their kids, not just the kids! 

We know that for families with one income, budgets can be tight, so our chapter's annual dues are just $20 per mom, and moms are never turned away if they cannot pay their dues.
